Filthy 50 Recon Ride #3
Put It Together
The Donut Ride
Sunday, October 11, 2026
It's time to put it all together.
The final recon ride before the Quick'n'Dirty Filthy 50 is the legendary Donut Ride—a long-standing local tradition that brings together riders from across Southern California for one last look at the course before race day.
We'll roll through the westbound portion of the Filthy 50 course, giving you one final opportunity to dial in your pacing, fueling, equipment, and race strategy. By now, the training is done. This ride is about building confidence, fine-tuning the details, and enjoying the community that makes the Filthy 50 such a special event.
Expect a larger group and a wide range of abilities. Whether you're racing the 30-mile or 50-mile event, on a mountain bike or drop-bar bike, the goal is simple: ride your ride, trust your training, and enjoy the experience.
Coffee and donuts will be available before we roll, because no Donut Ride would be complete without them.
