Filthy 50 Recon Ride Series: Ride 2
GOAL: HILL STRENGTH
The second recon ride will take us to the second half of the 50 mile course including the hike a bike, long sustained climbs and the famous switchbacks. For those who are training for the 30 mile, you have the option to expose yourself to this part of the course which will help with hill strength OR you can head east and ride the course. Join us for the Filthy 50 Recon Ride, the first in a 3-part series designed to help you conquer the Filthy 50 course. Each ride in this series will progressively get longer and cover different sections of the course. The goal is to help you gain confidence, learn pacing strategies, and familiarize yourself with the terrain.
As part of this ride, you'll also get a chance to fine-tune your nutrition and hydration strategy with the guidance of a skilled cycling coach.
