BAR #3 - Pick Up The Pace

BARs are back.

This is the time of year when a lot of riders are building volume and getting ready for long events like G&W, Rock Cobbler, BWR, and similar.

This is considered a workout ride because we’re intentionally minimizing stops. That’s different from a social ride, where regrouping and keeping everyone together is the priority. Ideally, find a rider or small pod and ride steady together, stopping for water or breaks as needed.

There’s no charge for these rides, and they’re self-supported.

Clear expectations up front so everyone gets what they’re coming for.


Goal: Sections of sub threshold pace to help manage effort and work on nutrition.

Duration: 5-6 hours

Route: 70 miles, 6000’ (shorter route will be available)

SELF SUPPORTED. WATER STOPS ALONG THE WAY.
