BARs are back.
This is the time of year when a lot of riders are building volume and getting ready for long events like G&W, Rock Cobbler, BWR, and similar.
The first BAR is 4 hours, focused on steady endurance at a conversational pace. No hero moves—just consistent riding with limited stops. The goal is simple: keep the pedals turning and stay smooth.
This is considered a workout ride because we’re intentionally minimizing stops. That’s different from a social ride, where regrouping and keeping everyone together is the priority. Ideally, find a rider or small pod and ride steady together, stopping for water or breaks as needed.
There’s no charge for these rides, and they’re self-supported.
Clear expectations up front so everyone gets what they’re coming for.
Goal: steady zone 2/3 effort. Limited stops
Duration: 4 hours
Route: 48 miles
SELF SUPPORTED. WATER STOPS ALONG THE WAY.
